Who we are

Software people who take business problems seriously.

Visolute is a software company working with businesses across Australia and further afield. We build SaaS products — some our own, some for the organisations that engage us — with a consistent focus on whether the result makes the work better.

A lot of business software is bought on the strength of a demonstration and then quietly worked around. We would rather build the thing that gets used: fitted to how a team already operates, understandable to the people using it, and honest about what it does and does not do.

That approach shapes our own products as much as our client work. DMARCLoop, our email authentication and reporting product, exists because the underlying data was already available to every organisation and almost nobody was in a position to read it.

How we work

Four things we hold to.

  • The problem before the technology

We want to understand what is actually going wrong before proposing anything. A clear problem statement is worth more than an impressive stack, and it often changes what gets built.

  • AI where it earns its place

AI is genuinely useful for some classes of problem and unnecessary for others. We will tell you which one you have, including when the answer means a smaller engagement for us.

  • Measured against outcomes

Software should make something better that you can point at — time recovered, errors reduced, a decision made with better information. We agree on that measure early.

  • Built to be maintained

Products outlive the engagement that created them. We write code and documentation on the assumption that someone else will need to work on it later.
